Yet this one is a solid cable. Not much to say besides it works. I have never tested another digital coaxial besides this one so I can't compare two different ones. It has good shielding and has great sound to me. I highly suggest it.
This cable looks good, seems to be made well, and it works. The price isn't bad, either, compared to how you would get gouged for the same or similar items at a brick and mortar chain. You can get cables just as good as this from Monoprice at a lower price, however. But the Belkin still is priced decently compared to what I have seen out there.
I must admit i was surprised at how quickly the retailer was able to ship this item to me. I've connected it up to my Yamaha RX-V663 AV Receiver from my Denon 1940CI DVD/SACD Player and i'm blown away by the sound clarity. I use Monster Cables primarily but the price, sound clarity and solid construction quality make Belkin a strong competitor.
Given the low price and adequate sound signaling, I can say I'm happy with the purchase. I was trying to hook my computer up to the surround sound system in my game room. But since this computer is ancient by electronic standards, I'm only able to use this digital coaxial cable till the day I upgrade arrives. My only regret is that I now think I should've gotten a longer one. Recommended for people who don't have far to connect.
I am using this cable to connect the sound from my pioneer upconvert dvd player to onkyo 7.1 home theater system. Sound is perfect. Good build quality, doesn't feel cheaply made, and it plugs in firmly into place. Will recommend it to other buyers.
